Welcome to the Official Website of

The University of Western Australia Pantomime Society

Greetings one and all from the land of bad crossdressing, terrible jokes and two-personed horses! Welcome to the world of Pantomime, we hope you enjoy your stay. Come, sit down and take in the wonderous surroundings fabricated entirely from cardboard and gaffer tape. While you're waiting to be entertained by our chorus of singing pirates, prepare to be bermuda triangularised by none other than CHUCK NORRIS! Here, have some more men in dresses.

Impressed? I thought so.

Contrary to what you hear on the street, we at the realm of Panto do not dress in black and pretend to be stuck in a box. Not at all! A Pantomime is a British play traditionally based on fairytales and nursery rhymes, packed full with innuendo and opportunities for the audience to interact (with witty comments such as HE'S BEHIND YOU!). While we try to stay true to our roots (ooh that's a bit rude) our shows have grown to incorporate movies, contemporary fiction and current affairs so our shows are always witty, smutty, and up-to-date.

So come along and sing a song and join the jamboree that is PantoSoc! We perform one production each semester, created by many talented uni students. Everyone who auditions for our shows is guaranteed a part, so our productions are largely an opportunity to meet new people and have fun on stage with your friends.

Whether you're interested in acting, writing, singing, dancing, wenching, painting, lighting, sounding, backstaging or a happy ending - we have something for everybody!

Meanwhile, take a seat and be amazed by our super-duper website! Note: The Hall of Shame is only to be viewed in small doses.

Toodle-loo!
